Conflict
Conflict is everywhere. It can be seen mostly in movies or in real life. An example of conflict in a movie could be from the movie named I Am Legend. In the movie, there is a doctor who is trying to survive in New York City after a deadly virus wiped out most of the population. While trying to stay alive, the doctor is trying to come up with a cure for the virus. Conflict can be seen in real life all the time, such as in relationships. Although, they may seem perfect, there is always some form of conflict. It might not be such a huge problem but there is still conflict there. Every film ever made has some form of conflict in the film, without it, the film would the dullest movie ever created. A film could be created using any type of conflict, such as the conflict mentioned above about relationships. A film could be made about the life about a couple who at first might show little conflict but as the story progresses it expands and leads to tragedies.

My Review Of The Elephant Man
The Elephant Man was overall a fantastic film. The fact that the elephant man John Merrick was an actual person was quite interesting to know. One can only wonder what his life could have been. The fact that the film was shot in black and white allowed for the viewer to better grasp the feel the how it was at that time and place. I loved this film because it opened my eyes to the possibilities that life can bring us, for example in the film, Fredrick Treeves at first took it upon himself to care for John Merrick to get a name for himself. Although, throughout the progression of the film, he began to really care for John Merrick and he wasn't just caring for him to get himself known more. Just goes to show that one's intentions might not be the real cause of why they are doing something. The film made me also see that the freaks in life are not the ones who have deformities nor the ones who are out of the ordinary, but the ones who get enjoyment from showcasing the ones considered "freaks". I truly enjoyed watching this film and would love to see it one more time.

My Name is John Merrick...
It has been a couple days since the freak show showcasing me was canceled, and I am just sitting in the corner Mr. Bytes keeps me in. After a while, Mr. Bytes lets in a strange man into the room to give him a private show since the freak show was canceled. Bytes begins to tell the "story" of how my mother was struck down by an elephant, as I am sitting there nervous of what the man will think of me. When Bytes finishes, the little boy pulls the curtain and I turn my back so I won't be seen. Bytes yells at me to stand up and turn around for the man to see how I am deformed. When I turned and faced the strange man, he did not cringe in disgust or turn away from me. Instead a tear fell from his eye. I have no idea what the man must have been thinking about for him to cry. When the man leaves, I stay wondering what might have caused him to cry, though I will never forget this day.

Welcome To My Nightmare....
A couple of years ago I had a bad dream. I was probably in middle school and it was a normal day. I went to school, then I got home exhausted ready to fall asleep. I went to my room and was having trouble falling asleep, I tried counting until I slept but it wouldn't work. I then decided to go into the kitchen to get some water but when I opened the door in my room and started to walk towards the kitchen, I noticed that nobody was home. I was all alone and it was around 8 pm. I was young at the time and didn't know what to do. I checked all around the house and couldn't find anyone. I then went outside and it was like a ghost town. I was confused and didn't know what was going on and didn't know what to do. I was walking down the street when suddenly a car was coming straight at me, I didn't notice it until the last second, I thought I was going to die. Then suddenly I woke up, in my room, alone.

Compassionate Science
To be a compassionate scientist, you must have some sort of training in a technological course to be able to make the world a better place. Most of all, you need some sort of motivation to push you to make a change, such as Mike Ebeling. He knew something about the technology behind 3D printing, but he also had a motivation; the arm-less children in Africa. He used his knowledge to teach the Africans how to make prosthetic arms for them. Without compassionate scientists such as Ebeling, the world would not be the way it is now. Without them, some technological advancements that have been made throughout the years might have not happened. Many of the advancements that we see today might not have been possible without having compassionate scientists. The idea to help others without wanting something in return doesn't cross everyone's mind. Many scientists around the world just do their job, and that's it. They don't take it up upon themselves to come up with ideas to help make the world a better place.

The Future
In the future, about 100 years or so, I believe the technology will increase immensely. I expect there to be hover-boards such as the ones in Back to the Future. I imagine a desk able to create 3d holograms. Not only do I see technological advancements but also in medicine. In the future I imagine there to be a cure for any type of illness. In the future, I can imagine some sort of pill that will allow a person to use a greater percentage of their brain at a time. Schools will no longer need books, almost everything will be digital. Students would be using tablets/laptops for most of their assignments. Delivery systems will be enhanced by the use of flying "drones" that transport items. Robots that clean the house for you when you aren't home. There are a lot of more inventions/advancements that will be made in the future that are unknown to humans at the moment. But so far, that is how I see the future.

The time I laughed really hard.
A couple of years ago, a couple of friends and I decided to go to a friends house after school on a friday. When friday came we decided to rent a jumper to just mess around and have fun. We got on top of my friend's garage and decided to do a leap of faith into the jumper. We all jumped in one at a time, except for my last friend named Freddy. He decided to put on a cape and do a flip in midair when he decided to jump. When he finally jumped into the jumper he hit the bottom of it so hard the jumper popped and it began to collapse on Freddy. We were all laughing at his failed attempt at a flip and how he popped the jumper. It was an unforgettable day.

Modern Times Review
I personally like the film Modern Times and how it was made. The film was created in 1936, that means that Charlie Chaplin had the technology to make a movie with sound but he didn't. I like this about about the film because it has a greater impact. For instance in the factory, the boss ("Big Brother") is the only one that speaks, making it seem as if he is above all of the workers. I also liked the fact that it was a silent film because it was a "tradition" with Chaplin's character The Little Tramp. Charlie believed if he made the movie with sound then it would be the same as any other film made at the time, he wanted it to be original. Modern Times was also interesting because of the ideas Chaplin introduced, he predicted the future. He thought that everyone would be unhappy and working in a factory being watched ever so closely by the boss. This film is now one of my favorite movies because it shows the struggle of the factory living that lifestyle.

My thoughts on bullying.
I have not been bullied nor have I ever been a bully but I have witnessed it. There are a few reasons why some people might decide to bully on others. It might be because the person who is being the bully feels unsure/insecure of themselves so they treat others with disrespect to make themselves feel better. I think that the person being bullied will suffer in the future if he/she doesn't stand up to the bully. They might not be able to stand up to others for certain things and will regret it. Not only is the victim of bullying suffering but so is the bully. The bully brings down other people to make himself feel better but in reality they are just coming up with a temporary solution. After they bully someone they might feel better about themselves for a small amount of time, but the bullying wont solve the fact that they are insecure about themselves.

My favorite movie
The movie that I would consider to be my favorite would have to be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It is about a man who asks to get some memories erased from his mind, he then later regrets it and tries to stop the removal while they are being removed. Once I saw the movie I knew it was certainly going to be on top because of some scenes throughout the film. There is a short part in the movie where the main character is speaking with the receptionist about wanting to stop the removal of the memories but the process has begun. This particular scene caught my attention because of how it was made. The way the camera was positioned and all the special effects used to show how his mind was being erased was incredible. One second he is speaking to the receptionist but then items in the background begin to vanish and faces get jumbled up. Another reason why I love this movie so much is because it always keeps you thinking.
